Clutch #2--Caught in the act

DragonBoy

Crazy Cornsnake Breeder
This is a photo of Mamie: Amel Motley. She was bred to Franklin: Creamsicle (patternless lines). Both originated from Jeff Mohr. This is her first clutch. She was bred on 3-10, had her prelay shed about 4-8 and I found her laying today. Mom was 341g prior to breeding so I will be curious to see how much she was postpartum. She has continued to eat like a horse the entire time. As you can see from the photo there are 6 or 7 eggs already. One looks very yellow and small but the rest all look good. This could be a very eggciting clutch in about 60 days.

I would love to see some creamsicle mots down the road. I am not sure what his patternless line feature will affect in the f1's (probably nothing) but I think the f1's could produce something interesting in say 2013. Unless the prognosticators are right and everything ends in 2012.

The 10 eggs that were normal in color are still doing good. There were 2 slugs in the lot which one of my kings really enjoyed. Only 61/2 more weeks to go...:dancer:

My young albino Caliking loves slugs!

Should be interesting to see what happens with this group. I love the messy stripe/motley stuff!
