cold corn

Hi all, ive been reading this forum for a few weeks now and found it to be as good or if not better than most books on corns.
One question for all of you who have been keeping corns for a while now, my viv ranges in temp from 72 one side to 82 in the middle and ends about 92 the other end. the thing that bothers me is that my corn sits mainly at the cold end about 95 percent of the time and is always cold when i pick him up.
is this normal? he does have the choice of 3 heat variations but seems to choose the colder side most of the time.

My corn likes the cool end as well my temp at the warmer end is about 80. Snakes in general are cool to the touch when you do pick them up. As you know, they are cold blooded and do not produce heat on their own. Also remember your body temp is in the 90's so anything below that temp will feel cold to you.

I would not worry about it too much, if your snake gets too cold he will head to the heat. He knows where the heat is at.
