Cold side

So my snake Boots has been hanging out on the cold side of her viv since about a day after her last feed. Now I wasnt too concerned until I was handeling her tonight and she was down in my shirt and sneezed. Is there a chance she sneezed because something in my shirt irratated her? This is the first and only (in the last 2 hrs) that shes sneezed, but as a first time snake owner who just lost her job and can not afford a vet I am concerned.

Could be that she's about to shed. The skin loosens around the nostrils first and can cause irritation.

Are you absolutely sure she sneezed? A short, sharp puff passes for an annoyed hiss in a Corn Snake (they think it makes them look really hard and mean - very cute!).

LOL... It very well may have been her tryin to be Hard hehe...
She hasnt done it again since... shes starting to look dull so Im thinking
she may be getting ready to shed. She was a bit twitchy last night too..but seems
to be fine today and is back to sitting on the warm side *shrugs* who knows
I was just a bit concerned last night.
