Well today I brought my amel out to poo like I always do a few days after feedings, anyway it took an abormally long time to actually get the real poop substance out(the brownish poop like substances) but she did get it all out and it turned out to be a big one, should I be worried? Also I know she's not impacted from swallowing aspen shavings, because I feed outside of the cage. Im not sure if she is impacted, or it just took her a while to work that big load out?
Thanks,

Jordan G.

Maybe she just pooped earlier than usual so it's on the substance harder. Or it's just a nice big poop. Nothing really to worry about.

Kindof, only when she needs to, if I take too long she'll go in the cage, but she usually will last up to 3 days and I bring her out 2 days after, within 5 minutes I have poop on newspaper in the garbage, no mess in the cage. :wavey:
