Earlier, i was looking to buy a sunglow. I then was informed the thread should be moved to the sales section, which requests all sales/purchases be posted there. Then i found out that now only contributing members can post in that category now, which totally contradicts the sales/purchases request on the category for most people. Where do i post my sales ads now? And nobody buys snakes on ebay/craigslist. I wouldn't. So do i just post them in general, or what? Am i missing some piece of info?:shrugs:

In order to sell snakes, you need to become a contributing member (what is that... $25? I'd say it's worth it!).

If all you're doing is posting a "Wanted" ad, you can post it on the "Corn Snakes Wanted" forum--you don't have to be a contributing member to do that.

If you are looking for a snake post a thread in Corn Snakes Wanted under the Classifieds Section. You do not have to be a contributing memeber to post a wanted thread but you have to be if you want to sell snakes in the for sale section.

I am both looking and planning on selling, so is the $25 a one-time fee, or a monthly/yearly thing? Thanks for the info taylor, katie.

I think it is a great idea that those who actually benefit financially from this forum help to support it. The price is so reasonable for what is offered here! I also think it is a great idea for those who benefit in non-financial ways (new knowledge, camaraderie, etc), to also help support the site, but that is not an actual requirement here. As a Contributor, you get to see the Insider Offers and posts, too - an added bonus.
