Well tonight was feeding night again, and tonight i tried things a little differently. I heated the fuzzer up a little more than i usually do, and brained him along with the usual slitting. Usually his prey sits out for a minute or two while i get him in his container, but this time it was right out of the bag, and dangled right then and there. It happened so fast it sort of startled me, a little Tsst and a snake flying at my hand. He proceeded to throw a few loops around it and bit down in a vicious manner, about 6 times before deciding it was dead. LOL, such a ferocious little feller he can be. I have seen better constrictions but im just surprised to have seen one at all! I held off taking many pictures during because i dont want to startle him. Im so impressed, Im glad he is enjoying his meals :D

That is really cool. I just saw my adult girl constric a couple weeks ago for the first time. She's pretty big and had the feeding tub actually knocking around on the cupboard. Aren't they so funny sometimes?
Your snake is very pretty too, btw. Now I'm going to really start thinking seriously about getting some motley genes into this house.
 
Another thing he did for the first time tonight was swallow his meal bum first. Imagine my surprise with all of this new activity! Any reason for the breach feeding? He had a bit of trouble with his last meal, and this time i did him the favor of breaking legs prior to feeding. Maybe he learned from his last experience? Or do they alternate....My last corn only ate head first.
 
Butt muncher!! haha my little guy used to eat butt first all the time, till i switched him to fuzzies. but yesterday when i fed him his first hopper he ate it butt first again. i think its just whatever end they get to first. :)
 
My okeetee female is a great constrictor! She hardly lets me get her in the container before she is wrapped up. Whenever my kids want to watch me feed, she's the hit!
