Hey, I just thought I'd share this with you guys. I'm in the process of building my own viv and I saw this hide and thought it was pretty cool so I'm going to use it in my viv. It's not my idea, and I haven't made it yet I just wanted to see what you guys thought of it. :)

I wouldn't make the hole so big and maybe put just have it open like a regular log hide, but it did give me some ideas!
 
Looks like it would be kind of a pain to clean, but I could be wrong.

It does look pretty neat though :D
 
I used to do stuff like that in theater. Brings back the memories. :)

I would never put that much effort into a corn snake hide.
Most of my hides are empty boxes or plastic bowls. The boxes get thrown away and the bowls can go in the dishwasher.
