Coolers and Air for transport

Hello all,
I had a previous thread on here asking about transporting my snakes across the country. Many people told me that a cooler was good to put them in b/c it insulates them from a quick temp change. I would have them in their snake bags and pack it w/ newspaper as well but my concern is the air. Is a cooler to airtight to transport a couple of corn snakes in? THX and have a good one.

I highly doubt that a cooler is air tight. The zoo uses coolers to transport all their reptiles, and they go on several hour drives across the state, all the critters come back just fine!
