I had a female corn cross rat snake and shes a bizarre colour her eggs are due to hatch this week but i'd like to know what the babies would be in two instances.

Are they going to be "corns in the sense that mum is part corn and dad is full corn.

Secondly i have two males and shes been in contact with both, one is ghost and the other is normal I've posted a photo of mum below with one of the possible dads.
Cheers in advance for any help.
Marina:)

They are hybrids and should be sold as such. To not label them as hybrids would be dishonest. Many people are anti-hybrid, not me, and would be very upset to learn that their cornsnake was not pure.

You will probably get all normal coloured offspring, unless any of the parents have hidden hets.

I can assure you that i had no intention of "passing them off" as corns i was more interested to know what percentage of their make up would be corn.

They will be sold to people knowly as corn X's i don't like the expression hybrids.

So more than likely normals then oh well.........they will be loved none the less.

The percentage depends on what the female's heritage is, surely. If she is half corn, half rat, the babies would be considered a quarter rat and three quarters corn, I would have said. If you don't know what percentage rat snake your female is, you won't be able to find out what percentage the babies will be short of genetic testing.
