he looks like an amel to me but he has some more yellow compared to mine but that might just be cuz mines older but my first guess would be amel

I'd go with amel too. Especially if you bought him (or her?) at a petshop. From my experience the pet stores usually only sell, normals, amels, anerys, and snows (thats all I've seen at least), so chances are very good that it is an amel judging from your pics.

im sure he/she is an amel (hasnt been sexed yet) just wondering as i have heard names such as creamsicle amel and stuff like that used for snakes just like it

What color are its pupils?

Are the pupils (the spots in the middle of the eye, not the iris) red or black? If red, yes, an amel. If black, maybe an ultramel (unlikely, but that last shot seems to show some yellow in the iris, which is the only reason I ask about the pupils).

at a first glance I would say amel. He/she does have a lot of yellow, and it may just be that specific pic that makes it look more yellow, but you may also have a butter on your hands, although that chance may be slight. Can you post a few more pics in different light?

the only thing thats making me doubt butter is that with his size, he should have a little more brown in his saddles, but I wouldn't rule it out completely just yet. Regardless, its a very pretty amel with very bright colors

There are quite a few widely recognized variations within amelanistic corns.

Creamsicles are amels that have one or more emoryi's ratsnakes as ancestors.

Candycanes are amels with red or orange saddles on (ideally) a pure white ground color. Sunglows are amels with no white on them, making a pure orange/red snake. Reverse okeetees (aka albino okeetees) are amels with very large white borders around the saddles, and (ideally) a solid bright orange ground color. These variations are all selectively bred for their particular looks, as opposed to the result of on/off genes.

IMO yours doesn't appear to fit any of the above specialty groups, so I would call it an amel. :)
