Corn snake floor space?

Hi, I'm just wondering how much floor space a corn snake ought to have?
I have a 33gal, but most of that comes from the fact that its 18" tall.
What is a good amount of floor space for an adult?

The rule of thumb is that the Corn should be able to stretch the length and width simultaneously. Usually 3 feet long by 18 inches/2 feet wide is about standard. However, the bigger the better really. If you can provide more floor area, then plenty of ground cover and hides will give them more opportunity to move around and big tanks can look pretty spectacular.

Height is good for providing jungle gym climbing equipment and getting them exercising as it keeps the muscle tone up and prevents flabbiness creeping in. However, some don't like climbing and won't use the height (usually the tubby ones that you wish would exercise more!).
