corn snakes feeding

I got a corn snake about five months ago. We took him to the vet we found out that he has hook worm eggs,and a bactrial infection. The vet gave us medication for him. He ate once three months ago and he hasn't ate since then. He is very active but i'm still very worried about him. I wanted to know how long they could go without eating? Any info would be a great help. My snakes name is jack and he's about five years old. He is a little longer then 5 feet.

A cornsnake (or any snake) can go a good while without food.
Since you say yours is still active I'd say it's still got a few months left to get eating again.

But for anyone else who may read this and who has more knowledge than myself it'd be a good idea to give the snake's approx. age and suspected (or definate) sex. Some older mature snakes may not eat during the breeding season.
 
How old is the snake? As mentioned, adult males may go off/on without food during breeding season. Did the vet give you any information? I would defer a determination of the snake's overall health up to the expert.
