Cornsnake Feeding

Just wanting peoples views i have been feeding my 2.5 year corns medium mice every 2-3 weeks some would get fat if i fed them more often im going to change to smalls every 2 weeks.
What do you feed small but often or more and say leave feeds every 2-4 weeks just curious, as some care sheets if followed you would soon end up with fat snakes

If it is an appropriate size prey item, I usually feed my adults every 10-14 days. I feed mine an adult mouse.

Thats the thing that gets me mine can and do get medium adult mice at the times stated so your adult corns get a small adult mouse when fully grown?
Weights for small adults approx 10g mediums 20g from were i buy mine from

I haven't weighed the mice but the are large adult mice from Rodent Pro. Actually I am thawing some right as we speak I will go weigh one.

Corns can grow and maintain weight at very different rates. What's a maintenance diet for one Corn will make another lose weight and another pile on flab.

Once you get to know your Corns, you can tweak their feeding to suit them if you want to. Most of my adult Corns get one large mouse a fortnight. A couple of my less active males get one large mouse every three weeks, or one small mouse a fortnight.

As long as your Corns maintain good muscle tone and aren't flabby or skinny, then your feeding regime - whatever it is - is fine. Don't be too quick to switch to feeding schemes which work for others because you think you're "wrong". A healthy Corn means that whatever you're doing, you're doing it right.

Yer this is pretty much what i do if they are putting to much weight cutting back the feeds but i think i will be putting most of mine on small adults as most are only 2.5 years old the adult does need a bigger mouse through
I do go by how they look rather than regular feeds
