cornsnake had change in attitude

nicky

Crazy Herp Chick
helllo eveyone,
the oddest thing happened yesterday for the better with my cornsnake. It was 30(c) outside yesterday so I took little nicky outside and le him crawl through my hands. At first he seemed surprised and tried to hide his face in my hnds which was really cute but then when he adjusted he seemed to llove being in the wild with the breeze so I took him inside to scheck for mites or bites for annoying bugs but he seemed fine. so It was feeding day and lets just say usually more corn isn't very enthousiastic when it comes to feeding he'll eat but he makes it look like soo boring and a waste of time so toyday instead of feeding him out of his cage I put the two pinkies in there and boom he was all over them! I wonder what brought on this sudden change in behaviour? anyone know?

change in temp

You said it is warmer out? Is it warmer inside as well. Often he may be reluctant to feed because of temps and now it is warmer.

I see that you are in Ontario so this looks like it may be a big factor. Some corns will take themselves off of food during the winter months regardless of temps inside. (internal clock?)

somehow they just know. It is the same with breeding. Few are able to trick their snakes to breed at different cycles than the natural one that coincides with the seasons.

Everything sounds normal to me. Good luck. Post a pic if you get the chance:cool:
