CORNY NOT FEEDING

Hi Guys

My 5 foot cornsnake, who previously was a good feeder, has stopped feeding. His viv is at 27.5 degrees, 37 percent humidity and he last fed 15th of march when he weighed 62.5 ounces ( I am in uk ). He now weighs 58.8 ounces. He is bright, responsive and has just been through his shed. Apart from the feeding issue he seems fit and well. He is 5 years old and. I keep his lights on 24/7 and he has two hides to go into. He has undertank heatmat and all is controlled by a thermostat. Any advice would be cool.

First of all, I converted 62.5 ounces to be nearly 1800 grams. That's a really big cornsnake. (To give you a sense of scale, my 4 feet 10 inches CS weights not quite 20 oz, a little less than 600g).

Addressing the no-feeding, its still breeding season, where it is not uncommon for corn snakes to go off food. So its not really concerning for them to skip a couple feedings. 2 months seems like a long time, but your snake can totally be okay. Is he still drinking normally and does his body condition seem good?

Anyways, some more info about feeding would be helpful. Do you feed f/t, how often do you offer food, where do you feed? Also, has he ever gone off food before?

So my recommendations would be to first, double check that weight, and second, give us some more info on feeding, but I'd bet its breeding season. One other comment, I would probably not do lights 24/7 as that is not natural and can stress them out. I do lights 12 hours on 12 hours off just like in the wild. Also - do you have a picture? That could be helpful, and I am slightly curious to see how big he is :)
