I haven't posted any new pics of her since I got her in Feb so I decided to make my hunny take a few a couple days ago.

She's doing awesome! Great eater! Growing like a weed! You can't tell so much in these shots but she has A LOT of greens coming out in her pattern. It'll be interesting to see how she looks in another year!

Thank you both! I don't really handle her as often as I should so she can be a little snippy when I reach my hand in to grab her.... But we're working on that!

She's had f/t her whole life until recently. I ran out so I got her a live mouse. I was kind of worried that she'd just try and swallow it like she does with f/t... I've heard of that happening with them.... But she struck at it cobra-style and wrapped around a few times! I was a proud snake mama! :D

Hopefully she returns to f/t mice. I have a king/corn hybrid that is rather snippy when i try to take her out. I have found that using a hook and keeping her attention on my other hand works wonders! I don't know why the hook picking her up doesnt bother her, but my hand does. Good luck taming her down!

Thanks for the tip. She's usually in one of her hides so when I want to take her out, I pull the hide off of enough of her body to grab her, then once she's in my hands, no more snippyness! Lol! It doesn't hurt when she bites anyways, so I dunno why I even bother doing that!

I don't think I'll have a problem with her switching back to f/t. She's always been a pretty fierce eater.

I love fierce eating lol! Both of mine have really gotten into coiling their mice up since i have bumped them up to adult/subadult mice. What does she weigh and what are you feeding her?

I haven't weighed her lately- she moves around too much! She's about 3 feet long, though, if that gives you a better idea on her size. Those pics were taken a day and a half after feeding. She's been eating an adult mouse every week but I have a hunch she'd take a couple of em if I offered...
