2.5 gallon betta tank with "Thorn," a male red Betta splendens

Hugo, a king betta. His tank is a bowfront so it's hard to get a clear photo of ALL of Hugo. He is about twice the size of a normal betta. Still B. splendens.

Yes, although he was in the larger tank. We had to switch him out because the king betta is so much bigger. Hugo is in a 3 gallon, but will soon be in a 5.5 gallon.
 
I loved having my betta in a 3gal. Those crummy bowls are not ideal for them, obviously. He was so vibrant, and active in a nice filtered tank.
