Couple questions regarding feeding and heat

First I was just wondering what everyone's opinion on the best way to thaw frozen feeders is (any size)
Also I had a question as to whether a lamp(if so what watt) or UTH would be a better heat source. I know these guys don't have extreme heat requirements but I keep my place kind of cold (around 68F).

Personally I thaw both pinkies and mice out in warm water. As far as a lamp or UTH I believe the UTH is the better choice as lamps tend to dry out the air.

I agree a UTH is the preferred option. It does well at providing belly heat, which is very good for digestion. It's important, no matter what heat source you use, to have a good thermometer to monitor the temps to make sure things aren't too hot (near a lamp or on the glass above a UTH).
Thawing-
All my f/t are stored in ziploc bags. So I just take out what I need and put the ziploc in a bowl of warm/hot water for a few minutes. You can also run warm water over the mouse or let them sit out at room temp, which takes longer. Just make sure it is warm all the way through before feeding.
Good luck!

Using a ziploc

I thaw my mice by putting them in a ziploc bag, sealing it, and then soaking that in a cup of hot (very warm) water for ~20 minutes or so (generally 6 - 8 pinkies + fuzzies). This keeps them (generally) from getting soaked.
