A big SD Gopher, the only snake I ever regret selling. It was meant to be that I helped bob applegate after a reptile show was closed and walked by some boothes and saw that they had the last gopher hatching(het snow) and it happened to be female...just what I needed. Oh well I learned from it, I think :p

Her again, She had the most beautiful orange that developed near adulthood. Im having hard trouble trying to find another like her.

And my aquarium before I re-designed it, and the population exploded Fancy guppies rule. You dont have to wait once a year to see babies, and they have tons of dominant and co-dominant traits.

To me, Guppies and their breeding is just annoying. The females look rubbish and the males are right pushovers lol. I'm raising some Kribensis fry at the moment. Well, that's a lie. I'm not, The parents are. They are growing like weeds though and slowly developing their parents pattern. Nice pics by the way lol.

OOOOOOOoh! black neon tetras! I've got a nice little school of 12 of them, my tank is a 4 footer, so they stream across it looking so brilliant, I had lost all my glowlights after 2 years and tried the black neons instead, I'm sure it's coming up to 18 months and all still going strong, but I've never managed to get any clear pictures of them because the angel fish get in the way

I had some black neons for about 3 years until just recently, they were being used as 'dither fish' for the kribs to chase but I guess they succumbed to the chasing as they all mysteriously died one by one. They are great resilient fish and look great when schooled together.

Since we are talking about fish, I got a 150g... huge... tank with cichlids. very awesome setup. 2 Tiger Oscars, 2 Firemouths, 1 Jack Dempsey, 2 Bala Sharks, 5, now down to 2 Tiger Barbs. I have no idea where they are going and there are no bodies to be found. I am pretty confident that they are being eaten though... Bad idea to buy such small fish. I am going today to get 1 Pleco, and around 3 Loaches or Corys

Nice looking tank, love the bubble set up. Im surprised about your jack being able to live with them, those guys really do take after jack dempsy. In my experience they dont get along well with other species

Tiger barbs cant live with cichlids, they are fast and semi-aggressive but cichlids very aggressive territorial and hungry

Cory catfish and loaches wont be able to live with them either.

My buddy can only keep plecos with his african cichlid tank, and even then everytime he puts one in they get their eyes plucked out and never grow bigger than what they are then.

Surprisingly, the Jack is doing very well, he does like to hide for a little while but loves feeding time. I have gotten mixed results about the temperament of Jacks, but I figured if I could raise them in the same tank since they were youngins, they would do alright. Plus, the tank is very big so I figured they wouldn't fight... too much.

My brother has a Bengal Loach in his tank and he did very well. Why do you think they won't do well? I need something to clean the bottom for me, and those 2 types seem like they will do the trick.

However, my brother also has 4 Tiger Barbs living with his 2 Oscars and they hardly chase them. However, they are bigger than what I bought.

I figure if you buy fish that are the same size or bigger than the ciclids, they will do alright.
