So tonight was the first night we fed my wifes baby royal python. Its about a month and a half old and adorable as a snake can get. Right size and everything is good, so we tried to feed him. Well at first he bit the fuzzy and just decided to carry it around for a while and then decided to eat. Well we usually shut off all noise and stand still to make sure it all goes well. So Winston starts eating and I look over and hes on his back and not moving, I freak out thinking holy crap he just died and then I see him take another gulp. He ate the fuzzy while on his back with his head on the ground. After he got it down he did his usual parascope deal where he lifts his head up and searches around and then started to get active. Is this normal or is Winston just a badass? I've never seen a snake eat on its back.
