Crazy shed

Larry just shed, but I would have had no idea if I didn't pick up his hide to check on him this morning! He's been reclusive just like the other times he shed, but I didn't see any cloudiness or blue, so I figured it was a few days off yet.

But this little bugger managed to do the whole thing INSIDE his hide. I have no idea what he rubbed on that was rough enough to get a good start, but lo and behold. This morning I picked up his hide to check on him, and there was a shed skin lacing throughout the substrate.

My crazy boy...:bird:

Almost anything can help start a shed, it is like a sunburn, it is dead skin that is peeling off so if it rubs against anything it will start to pull. After that they just slip through the banana peel!
