Depending upon who you talk to, a crimson and a hypo Miami may or may not be the same thing. Don's description of a crimson doesn't say that it is homozygous hypo, but most people consider a crimson to be that. His crimsons fit the definition of a Miami phase as they have a light tan ground color and a rich saddle color. His hypo Miami corns have the silver ground color, which is what many breeders are selecting for in their Miami phase, but that sets them apart from his crimsons, IMO. You need to talk to the breeder of your corn to find out if it is homozygous hypo or not. In the second picture, it sure looks like a crimson to me, but the other photo actually doesn't even look like the same snake, the color is so different.

Thanks Susan:spinner:
I bought she from a pet shop, so don't know his history. I don't mind homozygous hypo or not, just wanna know can I cross Candy Cane to produce Miami.

I love Miami but no any Miami in HongKong market. If I buy it direct from USA, the international shipping charges will be double pay of the corn's price or higher. So ... I perfer use my money to buy other my favor cornsnakes which cost higher than shipping charges look likes better to me.

If I can't produce Miami by myself, I hope I can find & buy a pair good pattern adult of Miami in the future.

There is a good chance that if you cross this snake with a candy cane, you can produce some Miami phase corns. But with all selectively bred varieties, don't expect all the offspring to be that morph.

Sounds good, thanks .... I can produce Miami by myself after two years :dancer:
