Just an FYI---the skin on the normal isn't supposed to do that. That is a sign of dehydration. I'm sure you've got a water bowl in the tank, so perhaps that's part of a shed skin still on the snake? If not, something is wrong. Snakes shouldn't be dehyrdated like that.

It is shedding...poorly. They have great big water bowls :>

I figured---it looked that way. Just figured I'd throw that out there in case you didn't know. That's a really common question on the boards. Doesn't seem like many people know what that's from.

Nice eel, btw.

Treasure goes NUTS when I eat near his tank.. comes zipping out.. and up his branch and startes at me.. just imagine his saying "Mom!!! Mom!!!!!!! Wheres mine!!!! MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!" LOL

Aren't they funny characters sometimes...

I've no idea about your expertise in corns or any snakes, but just to be sure it has been covered; what did you already do to help the corn shedding? Please forget question if not apropriate...

I am green to snakes, but back in the day I had an iguana, I used to mist him with a spray bottle to help keep the shed going...any other suggestions are definitely appreciated....don't fear offending me, I welcome more information.

Well, I've helped my Blue beauty rat snake by soaking him a couple of minutes in cold/luke water and then make him wriggle over and over again through a wet washing cloth until everything came off. But she already shed a piece, I don't know if this would work for yours 'cause to me it looks like yours didn't shed any piece, does it? You can always provide it with a plastic box with wet papertowel or aspen and a lid with a hole so she can lay down in a very moist environment. Instinct should make her go into it I guess.... But the misting is a good thing to start with!

Does the other corn shed well?
