Does any body else have a corn that likes to sleep above the viv floor ? Steve-o sleeps in a bush about 10 inches above the floor. I have triple checked the temps at ground level and under substratta and they are within limits on both sides. He is a climber and loves to slither on all his above ground stuff. Just curious as I have never heard of one sleeping in a tree before.

Sometimes Corny climbs up into a reptile hammock i have in his tank (i use it to elevate the vines i have but he loves it!). He will climb up there and curl up for hours! Nothing wrong wit it.

mine gets up between the lid and top of the viv, i have checked 100 times and she cant get out, but i have to always look up there before i remove the top.

Many of my babies sleep up in their vines. Or more precisely, they are hidden during the day, come out at night, and sit unmoving in a vine for hours. They outgrow this once they are 100g or so. Older snakes will come out and sleep in hammocks if I provide them, even during the day, or sleep with their head resting on a coil, hanging partially out of a paper towel tube.

I have a 22gm male who was acting like a tree python in his vines so I gave him one of those magnetic ledges and now that is where he sleeps all day long, although it is hidden by vines.

The only time he does not seem to be in it is when he is digesting, once he has his first poop it's back to the ledge!

Mine likes to sleep in his plant. I imagine he thinks he's hiding, but the neon pink stands out pretty well. :D
