Curious

Hey everyone,
I have been wondering if corn snakes temperment can change depending on how hot or cold they are, possible or not?

Just wondering. :)

Sort of. A cold snake is going to be lethargic, and may seem more calm. A warmer snake is going to have a lot of energy.

That's what I was thinking too, but me being a noob I wouldn't know much.
I like to ask the experts with first hand experience, :)

Thanks Vicky!

If a Corn overheats it can get very stressed - more active as Vicky says, but also uncharacteristically quick to bite (even usually laid-back ones) and intolerant of being handled or approached.

Too hot or cool and they can also go off their food.

When I got my most recent corn, it was about 50F outside and UPS left her on the doorstep. She was cold and cranky when I found her. Not sluggish but did not want to be handled, that's for sure.
