Custom Cage Heat Question

I couldn't decide if I should put this here or in General or in DIY. At any rate, I'm trying to make plans for new cages. I've uploaded a terrible shot of the plans. I'm worried that with the initial idea of having cages for snakes stacked on top of cages for bearded dragons, that the snakes might get too hot.

I'm going with variations of Crossfire cages for bearded dragons. The dragon cages will be 5'x2'x2' and the snake cages will be 5'x1'x2'. I plan on have each cage individual and stackable so that I can arrange them any way I please if I move again.

The plan is to have two stacks with two bearded dragon cages and then four snake cages on top. That will total in a 10'x8'x2 display. With the snakes on top of the bearded dragon cages, I assume that the heat will move up. Do you think the snakes will become too warm with this? I was planning on having heat tape connected in case it's needed.

Do you think that heat transfer from cage to cage will be a problem?

one question.. how will you reach 12' high to the top cage?

i think the heat drifting up would make the top cages too warm if they have their own heat supply as well. I know at my store i have to turn off the heat to the top cages in the summertime.

They wouldn't be 12 feet high, only 8 feet at the most. If I stacked the snakes on top of the bearded dragons, then eight feet. But if I had four stacks (two bds in one, two bds in another, and all the snakes in divided into two other stacks), then they would all be four feet tall.

gotcha. i was thinking LxWxH, not LxHxW.

is there room for four stacks? also where will you put the two turtles?

The turtles will be sharing a cage. At the moment, I'm thinking a double layer cage with a 4x4 land area with 200 or so gallons of water. I'm still trying to work out the specifics, but there should be plenty of room.
