Dark Ultramel Okeetee

If I didn't know better, I'd have said this is an Ultra Okeetee. But his dad is an ultramel okeetee and his mom a Reverse Okeetee so I know for sure he's Ultramel. I love the dark colouring though.

I don't think you can visually tell the difference

You can by the eyes. Here is an example of a Ultra Anery vs Ultramel Anery.
The Ultramel is the above snake.

Awesome shots! Those pupils look red to me. Great borders, I as well would love to see a post shed pic.

Walter, i have two like yours at the foto... the breeder say it is an anery ultra couple but now i know they both have different eyes. Could it be that one is an ultramel anery and one is an ultra anery when both parents are ultramel anery ?
thanks a lot and sorry for using the thread for something other

Yes, ultramel anery X ultramel anery=
1/4 Snow
1/4 Ultra Anerythristic
1/2 Ultramel Anerythristic

link a calculator so you can play!

Well, Jereme has answered the question for you, but yes as you can see.

This is the main reason I never breed Ultramel X Ultramel anymore, because then you have the chore of determining which are Ultramel and which are Ultra.

I also never breed Ultra/Ultramel to any kind of Hypo gene (other than SK). I believe it would be harder, if at all possible to visually determine a HYPO Ultra/Ultramel.
Of course it would be easily determined if both parents are HOMO Hypo, but getting to that point could prove to be a long drawn out process.

Thanks walter !
So i bought them two as ultramel anery (pictures in this thread)
Would you agree with me that one is ultramel and one is ultra ? Or is it only the different colour because they are different gender ?
I'm little bit confused but the male has purple pupils and the female dark one
i apreciate your opinion a lot
thanks
