I was just wondering what your opinions on this egg are, I am a bit worried the snake is dead. It looks like it is pressed against the wall of the egg and thats what the dark area is. The egg feels firm and I am wondering whether to try help the little fella out or not by making a slit in the egg? Also see the pic below...

The mother of the my first clutch has just laid a new clutch, however they were all slugs except one that I have incubated with a slight bit of hope, what do you think? its the most white one in the middle of the clutch.

Do not slit the egg. Sometimes eggs have windows. If the baby can't make it out on its own, it probably should not make it out.

Sure doesn't hurt to incubate the good-looking egg.
