hi, is it safe to deworm a 290g honduran milk with mebendazole(antiox)? my hondu milk is not gaining weight despite of aggressive feeding, he is already 2 years now, what is the recommended dosage for this? we dont have a reptile vet here in our area, thanks in advance

First have you had a fecal test for parasites done? If there are no labs in your area, you can do it yourself if you know what to look for with a decent dissection microscope. Normal dosage is by weight, 20-25 mg/kg orally daily for 2 weeks and then test a fecal sample for presence of parasites. If you don't know for certain it is parasites I wouldn't blindly administer a dewormer to a compromised animal.

There's a book called Understanding Reptile Parasites that is good if you want to learn how to do your own fecals, as well as recommending drug dosages. My advice on a microscope is don't buy a super cheap one. I got one for $100, and it is a piece of crap. I basically can't use it. I don't know how available the other supplies you'd need, stains, etc., would be where you are. But they must use them for dogs/cats.
