Different types of aspen bedding question

My 11 year old daughter and I are relatively new to snakekeeping (and I am new to this forum). We have had a beautiful amel corn snake for six weeks, happily living on Zoo Med Aspen Snake Bedding substrate. I needed to buy more, and about the best price I can find is $15.49 for a 24 L bag. I was at Tractor Supply and saw their 56 L (compressed) bags of premier pet aspen bedding for $8.99, which is about 1/4 the price per liter. It is somewhat coarser cut (i.e. not quite as finely shredded) but I bought a bag.

My question (and my daughter’s concern): is there any functional difference between the two products? Will the snake be just as happy and healthy on the somewhat coarser, much cheaper, product?

I don't have a TS nearby, so I only know from people who do that their aspen is fine. I hope one of them will weigh in soon, but be assured in the meantime.
