Do all wild corn snakes look "normal"?

Just wondering here in NC if all wild corn snakes have the normal look to them. I found a baby corn on a road I was jogging on and it looked more like a charcoal than anything else....just curious.
 
Well, there are anery corns in the wild. But hatchling corns can be very dark before the first couple sheds, too. Did you take a picture? Do you still have it?
 
Here is a photo I took of a very young black rat snake back in Oct 2004. It was in the low 60's I believe and this guy was out sunning on the rock. He didn't move at all when approached and felt really cold. Good photo subject though. Did the one you saw look like this perhaps?

I think we may have a winner...thanks for that pic. I showed it to my 8 year old and she said yep that is him for sure.
