Do bright vibrant colors of a captive bred corn mean short lifespan?

I've heard and read that bright, vibrant colors of a captive bred corn snake meant that it will have a short lifespan due to diseases from breeding or something along those lines...

I thought that bright patterns meant that it was a healthy snake. I have an amelanistic corn. Not sure if that makes a difference...

I would only assume that any diseases would be passed only if they were genetic, and that would be only if there was a lot of inbreeding.

In nature, snakes would want to blend in, so many of the bright and vibrant colors would be a beacon for food.

I would argue that captive bred corns would have longer lifespans due to the fact that there are no predators, and food is readily available.

Just my two cents, though.
