do you use snake bags?

Does anyone use snake bags for hides or just to transport snakes? I have never used one but was wondering if my snakes would like it.

I use pillowcases knotted closed, put inside an escape-proof plastic tank like a Critter Keeper and insulated with old towels.

I'm not sure how I'd judge whether my Corns "liked" it, but I've never had an escape from that setup and trips to the vet have been uneventful as far as carrying them went.

I use snake bags, cloth ones that tie off. Only to take them place to place if needed. But I make sure it is tied tight and no escape possible.

You have to watch as this can depend on the type of snake. Drymarchon (indigos/cribos) have done some serious damage to themselves trying to rub their way out of a bag, they're notorious for it.

I use pillow cases and knot them then stick them inside a critter keeper. In my opinion, my snakes seem to stay calmer throughout the transportation process that way.

If you use snake bags for transport, just make sure there are no loose strings inside or you turn the bag inside-out so the seams are on the outside. I saw gruesome pictures of a snake that got tangled in some strings inside a snake bag. It wasn't pretty.
