I have one on my 29 gallon treefrog tank. I find him highly entertaining. He spends a lot of time basking on a log in the back, which gets up to 85 or so during the day. Occaisionally I see him on the screen, closer to the lights, where temp reaches a bit higher. He eats small crickets, calcium dusted, and drinks from water sprayed on the leaves (live plants). He's FAST, and hard to catch when I need to change the tank out. He's not at all handle-able, so if you are looking for a lizard to hold and handle, don't get a house gecko.

Any other specific questions, let me know.

Hi Hypancistrus, thanks for your answer :)

if you don't mind, i want to ask, is tree is really necessary?
and should it be a real tree, not a fake one?

thank you for your answer :D

If I understand your question correctly....

Fake plants will be fine, and are easier to clean and rearrange. I prefer live plants because I enjoy taking care of plants as well as animals, and I have discovered that my plants do better as part of a terrarium instead of in individual pots scattered about. I think they get much better light and humidity in my tank.

I do not know what kind of stores you have in Indonesia, but around here, when I need fake plants for herps or the like, I head to Walmart or a crafting supply shop and buy the silk floral arrangement plants. They look the same as the kind you get from the pet store and are half the price.

If that is not what you wanted to know, by all means let me know.
