i dont know when she was breed/mated.my friend let them together all the year like myn.

hope that she is pregnant/gravid

Good Luck to your mate

Well lets see i now nothing of breeding. and you anf your friend are stupid. letting snakes livign together all the time. and from what i see that snakes probably just a lil obess. These are my opinions don't bite my head off

reptilemt,

It is not wise to keep corns together, and there are many reasons why. Stress, mating between immature snakes leading to egg binding, spread of disease and the list goes on. Without knowing if actual mating took place, it is difficult to know or guess from pics whether that female if gravid. She may very well be obese, as Baba-Lou observed. Keep an eye on her for signs of laying, maybe give her a lay box as a precaution.

Baba-Lou,
There are so many better ways you could have said what you just did. I don't think it's fair to call someone stupid for keeping their snakes together. While it's not advised to house corns together, many people do it with seemingly few problems. Name calling really isn't appropriate. And asking people not to bite your head off for calling someone stupid just because it's your opinion doesn't make it right. Opinions like that don't necessarily need to be shared. Why not be helpful instead of hurtful? Posting links to information about why it's not a good idea to cohab might help prove your point and make someone change their ways.

I agree, you could have found better words than 'stupid' there really is no need for it.

Is your friend planning to seperate his snakes if his female turns out to be pregnant? i would advise it because he will stress her out!

Let us know how she gets on

Good Luck
Isobel :)

Maybe "stupid" was a little harsh but he/she has posted the same question about a hundred times already about his/her own snake.

Name calling belongs on an elementary school playground, not in an educational forum. There are healthier ways to chastise people if someone feels they are doing something wrong, that's all. So he's posted several times about the same thing regarding his own snake. He obviously doesn't know as much as many people on this forum and should be spoken to in a polite manner about it. If someone feels compelled to be rude, PM him and tongue lash to their heart's content. If someone does that publicly, the only one who looks bad is the person acting rude. We can be critical, we don't have to be mean.
