Now i've been reading about genetics, and i have a question
Let's say i want to "make" som amels.. And i have 1 normal and 1 amel.. Dows it have something to say if its the male that is the amel and the female that is the normal, and the other way?
Dritz is right. All the babies from a pairing of normal x amel will be normal looking but will cary a copy of the amel gene...of course this is assuming the 2 snakes have no hidden genes.
If then 2-3 years down the line you bred a boy and a girl baby from the normal x amel clutch...statistics say that about 25% of your babies will hatch out as amels.
If you were to breed one of the babies with its amel parent, probablity would predict that 50% of the babies would be amel.
