Don't want to miss this season!

You guys might have seen my other thread about how my male isn't interested in my female at all. They've since spent a night together, took a break for five days, and then another night together. I never found any evidence in the morning. They were kept together in a rubbermaid container on paper towels, so I would have seen it. So with my "male" not doing his part, I seem to be at a loss. Oh Murphy, you snuck up on me so early!

My predicament is that I don't want to miss this season. I'm ready for babies! I have a rack ready and waiting, itty bitty f/t pinkies and everything. The only people I know in the community with corns are people that I've gotten the snakes for and they are (amazingly!) all females. The only one not proven was my male in question. I've heard of retained sperm, but I don't want to guess/assume she retained any from her breeding last year...

So, should I find someone near who is willing to do a breeding loan? I won't use a snake that doesn't come from someone reliable, because I refuse to risk my female/my collection...

Um, its only March. . . Some males don't even get interested until April. Thats just around the corner. Last year my males did not act like it was Spring til April though this year they were good to go at the end of january. Your male will be ready when he is ready but if you really want to breed right now, go ahead and look for a loaner, wouldn't hurt if its from someone you trust.
