double clutch indicators

I'm new to corns. Only had my pair for a month.

I was told by the previous owner/breeder that the girl regularly double clutched, regardless of mating. She's 6 yrs. old. I don't really want this to happen, but I can't argue with nature lol.

He told me that 2 months following her last clutch, she will again "do her thing". So, I didn't reintroduce her to the male but I put a moist vermiculite hide on the cold side of her enclosure, and she's using it and has pushed all the substrate to one side. What does this mean? She's been in there for a day. She seems lethargic, too, but she's regularly very active and somewhat fiesty, especially when fed. She shows NO interest in food. She weighs 400 grams, and has gained quite a bit since I got her, but I think I may be feeding her too much. Overzealous NEW owner, I guess. I've cut it down, everyone.

Anyway, any insight would be appreciated. I really love these guys.
