Could sum1 please tell me if double clutching is safe or not, I haven't bred my snakes yet, i just wanna know all the angles etc...etc

Thanks

If the female is of good weight & health, it can be done. However, their is risk involved with breeding regardless of the female double clutching.

I've had 2 females this year double clutch on their own without being paired again. The one I wished she hadn't, she hadn't recovered 100% from the 1st clutch. But, she had other things in mind.

Yeah, it really depends on the female; some of mine look *really skinny* after just one clutch; that's not okay. But another one of my females always seems to have a good weight/tone even right after laying, and eats like a champ. She also seems determined to double clutch; she did so the last two years, and this year I was extra careful to leave her with the male a small period of time; she just got done laying a second clutch of infertile eggs, rah! At least she seems able to handle it, though.
