What to type here?
Last night was feeding time for the good Dr. It's nice finally getting her to switch to F/T. As always she went into super insane kill mode as usual when a rodent is present. This time she struck at it before I had set her down and i had to sit for a good 15 minutes with her biting the rat and constricting my hand. It wasn't all that bad seeing how my hand just went numb. The fun part was when I tried to take her off and she let go of her rat and came for me! Katie was quick to grab the rat and put it in front of her face. I may have wet my self.

MY RAT!

Somehow I missed this picture... I had to move in slow for it. Last thing I needed was for the movement to trigger the prey drive of 7 feet of hungry Asian rat snake.

It was amusing - once she was securely attached to the intended dinner!
 
I love Taiwan Beauties! I have a male and he is moving up to weaned rats on Tuesday when I feed everyone! That is a mass feeding day
 
Oh, god! Wet-pants moment is right! Lucy scares the crap out of me, and she's not nearly as big as your miss Dr! Lol. I'm glad feeding night didn't end in disaster and stitches... (Okay, yeah, maybe I'm exaggerating...) =P

As usual, you have a gorgeous TBS. =)
 
Mine is a late 07 male. He is around 5 foot and pretty thick. Here is a recent picture.....

Really, I have no idea how old Lucy is. Her previous owner was convinced she was a year and a half when we got her last December, but I have doubts that even a female TBS could be 6 feet long, brumate herself, and successfully lay a decent-sized (from what I've read) clutch of slugs (last May) with no complications all at/by only 2 years old... Heh. She hasn't grown a whole lot since then.. Probably a bit over 6 ft. (Not HUGELY smaller than Shakalu... But enough that I can imagine Shakalu being scarier than Lucy!)

(Sorry--I'm reeeaaally long-winded! "real name" is Taylor, btw. =) )
