Droopy eye when sleeping?

I didn't think about this before, but it seems that you can tell when a snake is asleep!

I noticed my snake was in her tube hide around midday - usual sleeping time - and noticed that her head was sticking out a bit. Seems that she had coiled into a narrow tube and couldn't get her head in comfortably, so she just fell asleep in that position.

Anyway, her eyes looked funny - one was looking ahead normally, but other was drooping, looking almost directly downwards. I then gently tapped the viv a couple of times, she didn't respond for a couple of seconds, then instantaneously became alert and her eyes returned to normal - seems to me she was asleep and woke up.

Has anyone else caught their snake looking funny when they sleep?

I only notice when mine sleep they seem completely plopped out, like their heads are flat on the substrate and their bellies kind of sag into it. It's easier to see on my big boa, but it's kinda funny how they just deflate and flop out like that.

I did manage to snap a pic of my snake sleeping, you can see the her right eye is a bit wonky :D
