I had to make a quick fix to the top screen of me enclosure and I made the mistake of using duct tape. My poor baby snake peeled this infernal tape back and got stuck on it. In a panic I googled up some info that saved fluffy's life.
I found that with the use of patience, gentleness, and most of all olive oil, and cotton swabs. I feel horrible . I only had the little snake for 3 days and I could have brought about its untimely demise. Fluffy seems to be okay, I don't see any tears or lost scales. I am though, worried about the olive oil, perhaps coercing the snake into the water a few times will "float" the oil off. I'm not sure quite what to do next. I am also worried about any residual adhesive. I'm soooo glad I was able to free Fluffy. This is a hard learned lesson for a newbie like myself. Any further thoughts would be of great help.
-thanks
