Easier to Handle

If you were recommending a first time Corn snake owner do you think its easier to handle a new 06 baby or an 05 that hasn't been handled much by the breeder? Wuld the 05 that hasn't been handled much be more wary of contact than an 06?

Don't think it matters much. Each snake is different regardless of age. But for a first time owner, I'd go with the 05 for other reasons, feeding, health, etc... :wavey:

Personally, I always prefer to choose a slightly older snake. I'm not a huge fan of handling tiny snakes - I like to have something to hang on to. Of course, whichever snake you choose, just make sure he is healthy etc. :) Good luck!

Lol, I know the feeling. I'm always waiting for my snow to get bigger

I don't think it really matter on the age. Either way in the end they'll be tamed enough to handle.

I agree with mbdorfer. The '05 will be an established eater and usually of known health.

Either one is going take a while to get used to being handled. Good Luck!

Let us know what you get.
