First the prairie skink I found today.

Next, a sweet looking eastern milksnake I found last evening.

When I returned home from herping today I had a surprise waiting. Two of the foxsnake eggs had hatched.

I think the remaining three were infertile, but I incubated them anyway.
 
Did you find the fox snake eggs or do you have CB adults?

For those asking about the foxsnakes incubation times, here's the stats: mating observed on February 2, 2014, eggs laid on April 13, 2014, eggs hatched May 22, 2014. So eggs incubated for only 39 days at 81 degrees.
 
Wow, that's a pretty short incubation period. I love that last picture. He looks like he is really squeezed.
 
I love the focus in the foxsnake picture. Having that grass and the bark in the foreground, but out of focus, really makes this photo stand out.
 
Going to wait for the baby fiox snakes to shed before taking any photos. They are kind of bluish grey now and not much to look at.
