I got a 12 week old normal corn male the last 2 weeks he has eaten a pinkie every other day the last 4 days he eats 1 a day I guess he's gotta be ready for larger prey items. right or wrong

Why the heck are you offering food that often???

You should only offer a 12 week old snake food every 4-5 days at the most. You are not giving it time to rebuild it's digestive juices, and you are putting it's health at risk!

If I were you, I would wait a week then offer your snake 2 small pinkies. If it eats them without any problems, then I would wait at least 4-5 days before offering it any more food. You can at that point try giving it 1 large pinky or 1 peach fuzzy. If still no problems, then wait another 4-5 days before feeding again. I would feed a single larger food item for several feeding before trying to feed multiple items or move up in size again.

As the food items get larger, then you should space the feedings out farther. I feed all of my snakes which are on fuzzies or larger one time a week. The only exception is if the snakes are grown or overweight. I feed those every 10 days to 2 weeks.
