Eating while feeding...

Scrufdog

that one guy
So my buddy thinks it's totally gross that I can be in the middle of eating food, feed a F/T to a corn, then sit back and and finish eating while watching the corn do its thing. The strange thing, my buddy likes snakes...

Is this some sort of gross that I've never even concieved of? I dont think so.

I don't think so. I cook my food while mousicles are thawing, then serve up mice, then eat my dinner, and with the corns that will eat with an audience, watch them while I eat! It's very convenient.

Just don't _drink_ when you're feeding. Ask Wade for details. Or look for the thread "I Think I Am Going To Die."

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

And here I thought it was bad back in the day when I smoked and took a drink out of my Gatorade bottle ashtray...

LOL that old thread made me laugh when I read it.

As for eating while feeding, I do it all the time. *shrugs* I don't see why it could be gross, honestly.

I can't do that. The smell of cutting mice up bugs me too much. XD

And Nanci, can you post a link to that thread here? I couldn't find it.

I'll never forget the night he posted that...

I mentioned to the guy at Gourmet Rodents when I was picking up my mice that I thought they smelled like frozen shrimp and he says "Oh, don't tell me that!! Now I won't be able to eat shrimp!!"

My dog used to just smell like stinky dog, but since I got the snake I noticed she smells EXACTLY like thawing mice when she's sweaty!

I eat while I'm feeding my snake. I never really thought of it as a big deal. I do still make sure I wash my hands if I handle the snake, the mouse, or the container the mouse is in, before I got back to my own meal.

It's only gross if you are handling mice and then handling your own food without washing your hands.
