Echo, Our Gecko :)

Figured I'd share some pics of our female Tremper Albino Leo :)

Her name is Echo, and is technically my daughter's...but you know how that goes lol!

She is massive...I don't have my digital scale at my place right now, but she's is a hoss lol...

Moving her into a 20L this weekend so I can have a permanent humid hide in there, and a cool side hide...this is the best I could at the moment though...but it is worlds better than what she came in! She came with green reptile carpet, a hide, and a water dish...oh on an unregulated zoomed UTH that was hotter than hell :dgrin:

Here she is:

In Shed in the first few...

Ok...so I did some running around...well, quite a bit of it yesterday, and got Echo a 20L setup!

First stop at PetCo for the $1/gallon sale...gotta love getting a 20L for $20 instead of $45!!!

Next stop was to a local shop which is the only one that carries the hides I like...

Then home to drop off the tank and measure the floor dimensions.
Got the tile and had it cut at Lowe's...I think I spent $5 there.
Off to Petsmart for a 20L screen top, on sale for $14.99 (The local shop had them, but the screens were horribly cheap and flimsy)
Oh I also grabbed a cheap little plant there too...I'm going to grab one for the other end too, but they only had the one in stock...

I am going to use a Cool Whip container for a humid hide, but I'm going to try to dress it up and make it look somewhat naturalistic.

Heat is still coming from the lamp, but I am ordering a thermostat on Friday, so she'll soon be on a UTH!

See anything missing? Let me know! Thanks

She is beautiful!! We have a little Leo who has grown quite a bit since we got him maybe a month ago. I wish we would have had a leo a long time ago; they are so adorable! Ours belongs to my son (he bought him), and for the most part he takes care of him (he's 11). I made sure to set the tank up with proper temperatures, though.

Because everything else that looks good, really isn't good.
Reptile Carpet is horrible and traps bacteria. Sand really isn't good for them either if they ingest it.

Papertowl is safe but looks like crap :/

The tile is perfectly safe, transfers and holds heat well, and cost a whopping $5. It cleans super easy, and will likely never need replaced :)
