Egg Bound Please Help

My girl laid yesterday. She didn't go off food so I was unprepared for it. Anyway she has laid 20 eggs and it looks like she may have 3 more. I'm afraid she may be egg bound. She hasn't laid them and it has been about 15hrs since she laid her last one. Also she seems very lazy and keeps sitting in her water. Could she be egg bound and if so what should I do

I wouldn't be overly concerned yet since she just laid yesterday. Sometimes it takes two or three days for all of the eggs to come out. We usually wait two to three days before taking the lay box out after they've laid. If the eggs aren't laid by the time she has her post-lay shed, then I would suggest aspirating the eggs with a hypodermic needle and syringe so that they can be passed. That's a last ditch solution; if you're sure that she's egg-bound and you have the access/funds, take her to a herpetological vet before attempting the aspiration.

I come with bad news. I left her overnight and when I woke up she was dead. She had already laid 22 eggs and it looked like she still had 3 or 4 left. I'm still in shock from it. I think it was just more than she could handle.

I keep thinking like what if I fed her more or she got more excersize. She laid 22 eggs easily so I don't know what happened

Second guessing yourself won't bring her back, so all that can be done now is you learn for what happen and make any changes you may think you need for the future. Sometimes things happen and there is nothing you can do about it!

Wow, I'm very sorry to hear about your loss too. That was incredibly fast; normally it takes days at least before anything like that happens. We're working with a snake in almost exactly the same situation right now, and she's been trying to pass her last 2-3 eggs for almost a week now.
