Egg laying and a single female corn snake

I'm sure this is not the brightest question, but do female corn snakes that have never been exposed to other snakes ordinarily lay eggs? I know the eggs would not be fertile, but I haven't been able to get an answer as to whether they normally produce sterile eggs if raised alone.

Yes...they Can. I believe once the reach the age/size where ovulation takes place..and there is no sperm to fertilize the ova...some will lay "Slugs" some will....i hear...re-absorb any that havent been "shelled". So yes, i think it's fairly common. Some might even suggest getting her a mate for next season.
