my female okeetee layed 16 eggs through the past week. this morning i noticed that 3 of them are starting to drop in and 2 of those have turned yellow, one of which has a blue spot on it. :confused: amonst the others, some are a little soft, and some are kinda hard.
i have them in sphgnum moss, half burried, with a thin layer of more moss on top of them. the tems are around 83. i sprayed the botton of the container, and the top moss layer, as it was kinda dry.
i hope this helps, but please tell me if im doing something wrong.
 
I'm not experienced in this matter but from what I understand, if eggs cave in before the last week of incubation then it's generally cos they're dehydrated. Was it the uppermost 2? -or the 2 furthest to one side?

The blue spot, is it inside or outside the egg? If it's on the outside it could be mould or fungus and might be helped by swabbing it with a q-tip with chlorhexadine mouthwash on it or neosporin...-but be careful to not use neosporin with a topical anesthetic in it because we don't know what effect this could have on the developing babies inside. If the spot is inside then I really have no clue, sorry. I hope this helped a little,
